The most gut-wrenching part of the camp was the crematorium. The way they discarded the bodies of the dead was like nothing i’ve seen before. The prisoners were not seen as humans…but as an inferior race. Here is a video of the stages a prisoner would go through.
It was hard to wrap my head around the concentration camp in Dachau. The brutal treatment of the human lives in the camp was incomprehensible. The camp was simple in its design and had only one purpose. Here are some pics…they don’t really do the experience justice.
On the bus to Zel Am See we were surrounded by misty mountains, accented by the towns below.
The same few words echoed through the bus, “pictures just don’t do it justice.”
Cool city high up in the Alps. Didn’t have much time to check out the town though.
